This is a page set up to help keep parents of The Healing Place in Shreveport, Louisiana, connected with the student ministry, THP Students. Each week our Student Pastor, Dallas Mora, or another team member will be posting notes from our small groups and lessons, as well as blog posts talking about what God is doing through THP Students!
What is THP Students?
THP Students is a ministry focused on raising sons and daughters to know the presence of God and to be carriers of His presence everywhere they go. Our students gather on Wednesday Nights in our student room at 6:30 PM. This is a space designed to foster times of fellowship, worship, and study of the scriptures in a homelike environment. The goal is to create a space where students can grow together as they seek the Lord together.
Our team is passionate about helping students become what God has created them to be. To achieve this, we create opportunities for students (grades 6th through 12th ) to grow through intentional times of fellowship, worship, and contextual study of the Bible. Each opportunity is designed to help students understand their identity in Christ, equip them to minister, and build their confidence to be carriers of His presence. Most importantly each student that comes through THP Students, walks out knowing that God loves them, cares about them, and that has a plan and a purpose for their lives.
